Bibi, born in Caracas, Venezuela, has been living in Oklahoma for 24 years. She and her husband Ben of 19 years have three beautiful sons: Lennon, 17; Alam, 10; and Soren, 7. Eight years ago when Lennon was only 9, Bibi and Ben adopted Alam. Bibi says her boys are not only her “why” and her reason for living, they are her motor. Her faith in God is her gasoline.

A lover of cooking, dancing, reading, and painting, Bibi’s real passion has always been health. As a registered nurse, she whole-heartedly believes in the saying, “once a nurse, always a nurse!” Her goal is to impact the health of the community she serves and lives in, something she’s believed in even before starting her Plexus Journey.

“Plexus arrived in my life in May of 2013. My friend Heather had posted an announcement on Facebook, and I told her a wanted a demonstration of that famous pink drink! I wasn’t interested in the business, I only wanted to lose weight and break my coffee and sugar habit that I knew wasn’t healthy…”

“But I fell in love with the products, with the ingredients, with the science behind them, and the results that Plexus offered! Like the good friend I am, I decided to share my experience with my family and best friends, but I decided I was not going to build a team!”

Bibi laughed at the memory of her mindset at the time. “I know, I know,” she admitted, “but don’t laugh at me yet! Five months after I started to share Plexus, With the help of my Plexus business, I have been able to retire from my nursing career.” ¤

“Thanks to Plexus and the great compensation plan, my dream of being a stay at home mom became a reality! By 2014, I had achieved Emerald.” ¤

One of the questions Plexus Ambassadors get asked most is for words of wisdom they would offer to new Ambassadors embarking on their Plexus Journey for the first time. We asked Bibi for her two cents.

“This is a marathon, not a 100-meter sprint,” she recalls. “This is a journey that requires preparation, change, and growth. There will be moments that challenge you. Understanding your own why will help you maintain focus, keeping your eyes on the goal with no distractions!”

“Achieving your goal requires guts, persistence, and perseverance,” says Bibi. “Remember that the perseverance is the hard work that you do after you get tired of the work you already did!”

Bibi quoted Thomas Carlyle, reminded of her commitment to stay strong every step of the way. “Permanence, perseverance, and persistence above all obstacles, discouragement, and impossibilities; these are the qualities that distinguish strength over weakness.” Bibi added, “we are Latinos/as! We are strong! We were born for challenges!”

Bibi has been one of Plexus’ Spanish-speaking pioneers, proudly starting the journey of expanding Plexus’ reach in Spanish. “We have the best corporate team supporting us, the best tools, and all the help you need to achieve success on this journey! If you’re bilingual, you have a huge advantage! Do not waste it!”

When we asked Bibi for any final words of advice, she wanted to address you, the reader. “If you’re reading this right now, consider yourself blessed. This is the beginning of something great, huge! Plexus is changing this industry and you have the opportunity to be part it!”

“When I look at my sons growing and changing every day, I realize that the best gift that life gives us is change. Plexus has been an element of change in my life, from physical to emotional to financial changes. Before Plexus, although my husband and I worked extremely hard, there always seemed to be more month than there were paychecks. We couldn’t give, save, or take vacations without debt. Living paycheck to paycheck is the most selfish way of life – your focus is only on survival. Plexus took us out of survival mode and enabled us to truly prosper. The most beautiful part of having a prosperous life is the impact you can have on others.” ¤

For Bibi, Plexus is more than a health and happiness company. She says for her, Plexus translates to more flexibility in time, finances, and growth. Her first new car was the Lexus she picked with the Jewel car bonus program she earned as a Plexus Ambassador in 2014. The day we spoke with Bibi was the day she was going to pick up her second Lexus! Way to go, Bibi, you earned it! ¤
