We’re making the Caesar dressing from scratch, making it the perfect touch to add to your beautifully grilled masterpiece.


Yummy + Share: Grilled Steak Caesar Salad

Time: 45 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients

Steak and Romaine

2 one-inch thick strip steaks, trimmed of fat
2 Romaine hearts, split lengthwise and core trimmed
Freshly ground pepper and kosher salt
1 tablespoon olive oil

Caesar Salad Dressing

½ cup Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 anchovies
1 garlic clove, chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
½ tablespoon dried oregano

Instructions

Caesar salad dressing

Combine garlic clove, pepper, salt, anchovies, oregano, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a blender and mix until smooth.

Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Strip steaks

Crank up the grill to medium heat.

Season the steaks with salt and pepper.

Grill the steaks for about 5 minutes for medium rare. Or longer for your desired doneness.

Slice the steaks and serve over the salad.

Drizzle the salad with the dressing and parmesan cheese.
