Scottsdale, Ariz. (March 18, 2024) – Plexus Worldwide®, a leading health and wellness company, hosted 70 Brand Ambassadors who successfully packed 2,000 hygiene kits for Phoenix nonprofit St. Mary’s Food Bank at its Rubies on the Rise training event on March 15.

Rubies and Senior Rubies met at Plexus® headquarters in Scottsdale– in a designated educational space called the ‘Gold Room’ – to build hygiene kits, packing important supplies such as toothpaste, soap, shampoo and deodorant. St. Mary’s will directly hand out these kits to people experiencing homelessness, or people in need, as Phoenix continues to undergo a housing crisis.

“Our Brand Ambassadors love our field training events for the sense of community and educational aspects,” said Elizabeth Woods, Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility. “We’ve added philanthropic participation opportunities at each of these events and we’ve seen people respond enthusiastically with the chance to give back locally.”

Rubies on the Rise is an exciting two-day event that focuses on leadership, overcoming mental obstacles and tips for business owners. There will be a second Rubies on the Rise event in Phoenix on October 10.
